Adam Mikrut
CEO & Founder, DigitalStakeout
Adam Mikrut has spent over two decades building the tools and systems that security and intelligence professionals rely on to stay ahead of digital threats. A technical founder who still architects and ships product, he is the Founder and CEO of DigitalStakeout, a real-time threat intelligence and digital risk protection company serving government, enterprise, and public safety organizations. Adam's entrepreneurial path in security began in 2004 when he co-founded a boutique cybersecurity consultancy delivering penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and security operations services. That early work included hands-on SIEM development with GuardedNet and IBM, threat detection engineering, and tailored training programs for SOC teams and security leadership. In 2010, he founded DigitalStakeout as a product company, building the OSINT and AI-powered intelligence platforms the company is known for today. Before launching his entrepreneurial career, Adam held security engineering roles at integrators and VARs before serving as Senior Security Engineer and later Information Security Officer at NetBank — building deep, hands-on expertise in enterprise security architecture, risk management, and operational defense. Today, Adam leads DigitalStakeout's push into graph-based intelligence and AI-powered analysis — continuing to evolve how organizations discover, connect, and act on the threats that matter most.
